Who We Are
Who We Are
Each of us has worked in a variety of organisations, from manufacturing to service, to education and not-for-profit. We have been subject to a variety of performance measurement and management regimes, have subjected our own staff to them and have implemented new ones. Whilst we understand that process is important, our view is that it is a means to an end. It sits within a context and its purpose is to support the delivery of an effective outcome. We believe you, the client, understand the context and what you need to achieve. We can help you to clarify your thinking, use your resources to best effect and turn your strategy into action. We also firmly believe we can help you to do it in a way that will bring your employees with you.

Performance Measurement, Management and Gardening
It’s summer. At the time of writing it has been warm and wet. The grass, the plants and all the weeds have grown profusely and it’s hard to remember just how difficult it can be to create a garden in the first place. But I can assure you, if you haven’t tried, that it is…………
Measurement Savvy, Performance Stupid
I hope your organisation doesn’t suffer from the problem I’m about to describe – but we all know examples from organisations that do. Performance management: are we too old fashioned?

A report from the TUC reveals that 1.5m people work from home. The relationship between employees and employers has also changed….
A new perspective of strategy: the evolution of humming birds and plants
It’s a depressing statistic that about 90% of strategic plans are not implemented. Just think about the wasted time and effort that has been put into plans that haven’t been followed. Why does it happen? Patrick Hoverstadt and Lucy Loh from Fractal Consulting gave a presentation on strategy at Cranfield but presented a new way…
